Первые профсоюзные организации в Чеченской Республике были созданы рабочими Грозненской железной дороги в октябре 1905 года, в ноябре того же года профсоюз организуется среди почтово-телеграфных работников, в 1906 году – среди нефтяников и ряда других отраслей. С 1907г. профсоюзы свернули свою работу, в 1917 году они были воссозданы.
