The journal is devoted to the problems of high-temperature physical chemistry and electrochemistry of metallic, oxide and salt melts. It publishes the results of original theoretical and experimental studies of the structure, physical and chemical properties, thermodynamics of melts, the structure of the boundaries of melts with solid, liquid and gaseous phases, the processes occurring at these boundaries during the production of ferrous, non-ferrous and rare metals; the results of physical and computer modeling of the structure and properties of liquid, amorphous and nanomaterials.
